In light of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and restrictions imposed by Miami-Dade County Emergency Orders, Homestead Public Services (HPS) is offering accommodations to its customers including the suspension of non-payment shut-offs and a waiver of late fees. In addition, HPS Sanitation understands that some businesses may not require the same level of service now as during normal operations. In order to minimize the impact to such businesses, the City is now accepting requests for service modifications. Based on the impact, the City will adjust the service and billing as may be necessary. Businesses falling into this category should email email@example.com to submit their request for service modification.
The Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency Small Business Emergency Recovery Grant will assist eligible small businesses with a grant up to $5,000 for COVID relief assistance. Visit www.cityofhomestead.com/COVIDgrants for more information.
