  1. Homestead Cybrary Construction Job Fair

    May 11, 2019, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Phichol Williams Community Center

Build your future at the Homestead Cybrary Construction Job Fair Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11am to 2pm at the Phichol Williams Community Center (951 SW 4th Street, Homestead, FL 33030). Attendees will have the chance to meet with multiple companies representing various trades that will help build the Homestead Cybrary, located in Downtown Homestead. Attendees are invited to stay for a bonus session from 2pm to 3pm that will discuss the City of Homestead’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) and how to register as a DBE. Put simply, the primary goal and objective of the DBE program is to level the playing field by providing small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals a fair opportunity to compete for federally funded transportation contracts. As a recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) fund, the City of Homestead is committed to fulfilling this goal.
