The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, for the improvement to the existing roadway surface area, including adjacent shoulders and re-surface roadways in areas as designated in writing, on an as needed basis, as listed and specified herein and on the Bid Form which is and does become a part of this Bid. These services shall only be performed when requested by the City via a task order/purchase order.
Bidders shall be well versed in all aspects of FEMA documentation, reimbursement and project management. The guidelines under 2 CFR 200, Title 23, and 23 CFR shall apply to this contract in order to be eligible for reimbursement under the Public Assistance Program.
In compliance with 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 the City shall take all necessary affirmative steps to assure that small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprise and labor surplus area firms are used when possible.
