Honored for his dedication and commitment to the students, and teachers at Campbell Drive K-8, Councilman Elvis R. Maldonado received a Certificate of Appreciation on Friday, May 24th during the school’s annual Volunteer’s Breakfast. Councilman Maldonado was also surprised at the Volunteers’ Breakfast with balloons and party hats celebrating his 40th birthday, which was the same day of the event.
“I am humbled by this gesture from the faculty and staff at Campbell Drive K-8,” said Councilman Elvis R. Maldonado Liaison to the Homestead Education Committee who also attended Campbell Drive K-8. “It is my goal to continue to help and support the administration, teachers, and faculty of this school and all other schools in Homestead. The children of our community are the future and they deserve all our support.”
