As the City of Homestead continues to serve residents while buildings are closed to the public due to COVID-19, the Development Services Department is now accepting online payments for Hearing Applications, Building Permits, and Local Business Tax Receipts. Under the current Declared State of Emergency, the convenience fee will be passed on to the applicant/customer.
Payments can be made at www.cityofhomestead.com/payonline. In order to process payments, customers will need to have their account number ready. The account number will be specific to the Hearing Number, Building Permit, or Business Tax Receipt being paid for. Additional information for each Division of Development Services can be found below:
- Planning & Zoning: Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a 6 digit account number.
- Building Permits: The account number is your 8 digit process/permit number displayed on the permit invoice.
- Business Tax Receipt
- New Businesses: Please contact email@example.com for your 7 digit account number.
- Existing Businesses: The account number is the 7 digit Tax Receipt Number found on the top left corner of the City of Homestead Local Business Tax Receipt.
