[ARCHIVED] Homestead Police Partners for “GPS” Summer Youth Program

GPS Summer 2019

Registration is now open for the Guiding the Path to Success (GPS) Summer Program.  This summer enrichment program is open to students from Kindergarten through 5th Grade and will take place June 10, 2019—July 31, 2019 7:30AM-5:30PM at the Homestead PAL Gym (600 SW 14th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030).  The GPS program in Homestead is the result of a partnership between Homestead Police, Homestead Police Athletic League, Gang Alternative, and the Children’s Trust.

GPS has a full array of educational and recreational activities such as homework assistance, literacy, fitness, social skills/life skills, project-based learning, field trips, and unique family engagement events.  Applications for the program are available at the Homestead PAL Gym (600 SW 14th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030).  The registration fee is $75, with a “sibling discount” of $50 for each additional child.  Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.  For more information, contact Ms. Latoya at (786) 593-8463.
