The Homestead-Miami Speedway was awash in a sea of red, white, and blue for the eighth year in a row as thousands of people flocked to the City of Homestead’s “Race to the 4th!” Independence Day Bash. The evening of fun dedicated to all things America culminated with the best fireworks show in South Florida—a dazzling display of pyrotechnics synced to a mix of pop hits and patriotic tunes.
Guests enjoyed a host of summer favorites and refreshing beverages at a diverse array of food trucks and vendors while kids of all ages amused themselves for hours with midway-style rides and games. Meanwhile, Miami rock cover band Hangar 5 filled the Speedway with the sounds of American classic rock.
Perched eight stories about the track, the Champions Club played host to a special VIP Event. The sold-out crowd indulged in unlimited food and soft drinks while dancing the night away in style. Assorted dignitaries, including members of the Homestead Mayor and City Council, addressed the crowd with inspiring salutes to American freedom. Champions Club guests capped off their evening with a preferred view of the epic fireworks display.
