Miami-Dade County Opens Additional Emergency Shelters

Hurricane Irma Updates

Miami-Dade County has now opened FOUR ADDITIONAL HURRICANE SHELTERS.

Miami Central Senior, 1781 NW 95 St, Miami 33147

North Miami Senior, 13110 NE 8th Ave, North Miami 33161

TERRA Environmental, 11005 SW 84 St., Miami 33173


Please note Miami-Dade County has issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION FOR ALL MOBILE HOMES AND ALL OF ZONE A. Zone A DOES NOT ENCOMPASS the City of Homestead. There is also a VOLUNTARY EVACUATION FOR ZONE B. Find your zone at www.cityofhomestead.com/stormzone. Zone A is red and Zone B is orange. You will need to zoom out slightly after you search your address to see your color.


The following four shelters, including one pet friendly shelter opened yesterday at 5PM:
