There is nothing more important during the summer months than to keep students engaged in academics and that is the idea behind the Sizzling Summer Reading Challenge. For the fourth year in a row, Vice Mayor Patricia Fairclough encourages local students to keep their minds active all summer long with this exciting contest. So, get ready to read this summer for the chance to win a week's worth of FREE uniforms and supplies for back to school. The contest is open until August 5, 2016 to K-12 students living in the City of Homestead. Winners will be announced at the August 24, 2016 City Council Meeting
