Ms. Henry possesses a potent combination of dynamic vocal abilities, impeccable phrasing, and powerful emotional resonance. Her repertoire includes the American Songbook, classic and contemporary jazz titles, contemporary' standards, blues, and originals; while her accompaniment ranges from a simple jazz trio to a full big band.

Ms. Henry joins the Seminole Theatre's first series of performances in nearly 40 years. The star-studded series includes award-winning musical acts such as The Lettermen, Charlie Musselwhite, and Alejandro Escovedo. This is the first of several Showcase Series, which will include other types of performances. Ticketsare available online at www.seminoletheatre.org, over the phone at (786) 650-2073, or at the Box Office located at 18 North Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030.

The renovation of the Seminole Theatre as a cultural arts center is part of an overall effort to bring new life to Downtown Homestead with a series of civic and community ventures. These include the new City Hall, opening March 7th, the expansion of Losner Park as a civic plaza for community events, and the construction of a new Police Station in the heart of Downtown.

Funding for the Seminole Theatre restoration was made possible thanks to the citizens of Homestead. During the decisive May 2014 Bond Referendum, 64% voted in favor of the $5 million Bond to renovate the Historic Seminole Theatre as a cultural center.
