Water  Sewer

If you require a Sewer Capacity Certification (Application for Allocation Letter) please find link below.

What is a Sewer Capacity Certification (Application for Allocation Letter)

Federal regulations require certain permit applicants to obtain a Sewer Capacity Certification letter before being issued a building permit. This letter certifies that the sewer system can handle the demands that your permit will require. Due to an overloaded sewer system, there might not be enough capacity to handle your request. But you can apply for and obtain certification before you submit building plans, saving you time and money.

Any construction or change of use that will cause an increase in wastewater discharge to a sewer will need a certification letter. This includes such things as changing a single-family house to a duplex, adding extra seats to a restaurant, adding a new doctor to a practice, or building a new house.

If you require a Floating Water Meter please see link for application.

Request a floating meter when water is needed for a temporary project and the property does not currently have water service. A floating meter is typically connected to a fire hydrant or an existing water service that does not have a meter installed.

They are typically used by industrial entities, developers, landscape and irrigation companies, construction job sites and even film crews.

A floating meter – also known as a construction meter and hydrant meter is similar to the standard water meter used at most residences and places of business to measure the water used.

Unlike a standard meter, a floating meter is not attached or fixed to a specific site – it is portable (hence the term "floating"). Floating meters are normally used by industrial entities, developers, landscape and irrigation companies, construction job sites and film crews.
