Important: Microsoft Windows XP Users please read the information below before downloading any documents from our Electronic Document system.

The Internet Explorer pop-up blocker and security settings included in Windows XP Service Pack 2 prevents users from generating and downloading documents from our document repository.

In order to download electronic documents you must add our website to your trusted sites. This procedure only has to be done once.

Please follow the directions below to add our website to your trusted sites.

1. Open Internet Explorer browser.
2. On the menu bar click Tools > Internet Options
3. Select the Security Tab and select Trusted Sites (see below)

4. Click on the Sites button
5. Add the City of Homestead website by typing http://www.cityofhomestead.com in the line to add website to zone. *** Important***
Remove the check mark next to Required server verification ... (see below)

6. Now click the Add button, and then click OK.
7. You will now be able to download electronic documents from our website. This only has to be done the first time you download a document from our website.
