Halloween Boo-Bash

The Halloween in Homestead Event this year was a great success. The event had 14 Trunks for participants to safely trick-o-treat, food, refreshments, DJ Flip, bounce house, rock climbing wall, slide and a Haunted Area. The Haunted Area was very popular and it was a major attraction. We had over 2,500 participants attend.

Breakfast with Santa

The Breakfast with Santa Event this year was a huge success. The pancakes and sausage were donated by Royal palm Grill in Homestead and they were amazing. We also had piles of snow, holiday ceramics, face painting, winter wonderland and picture with Santa. This event is one of our signature events and every year it gets better. We are already looking forward to next year's event. Have a Happy Holiday from Parks and Public Works!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt is held at the Harris Field Football Stadium. Activities include petting zoo, bounce houses, obstacle courses, face painting. We will also have vendors selling hot dogs, hamburgers, refreshments and ice cream. The Easter Egg Hunt will be divided into 3 age groups, infants to 3 years, 4 to 6 and 7-10. This will provide a safe and fun environment for all participants.

4th of July

The 4th of July event is held at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This event is Homestead biggest event and had over 7,000 people in attendance. The entertainment included live bands, food, craft vendors and amusement rides for the kids and the kids at heart. At the end of the evening, we concluded with a grand fireworks show.
